5^th Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

Our annual Spirit Week has come and gone and I am certain that fun was had by all who participated in the daily activities. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for Race Day on Wednesday. Here is what else we got up to this week.

Maths: Topic 13 Solids

Literacy: Historical Fiction Writing/Katie’s Trunk/War Horse/Good Sentences

Science: Chapter 4 – Ecosystems/Chapter Wrap-Up and In-class project

Social Studies: Chapter 11 The Allies Win The War.

Reminders

1.     International Week presentations will take place on Monday, March 27 from 9:00 – 11:30. In-class presentations will take place on Tuesday, March 28 from 11:10 – 12:15

2.     The last day of school before Spring Break is Friday, March 31, 2017.
