Week 24 Update

5^th Grade Weekly Update

Dear Parents,

This week marked 100 days of school, which means we are now more than halfway through the school year. We have reached the end of February and are now entering the month of March which brings with it both warmer weather and activities that include Spirit Week and International Week.      

What we learned this week

Maths: Topic 11- Multiplying Fractions and Mixed Numbers/Topic 12 – Perimeter and Area

Literacy: Fiction Writing/The Golden Lion Tamarin Comes Home/Good Sentences

Science: Chapter 4 – Ecosystems

Social Studies: Chapter 9 The Great Depression and The New Deal
