Weekly Update

Grade Weekly Update
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the
end of an unexpectedly short week at HIS.
As many of you
will know, it is quite rare to have two consecutive Typhoon Days declared in
the Hsinchu area so one can only imagine the amount of damage caused by the
typhoon this week. I hope that all is back to normal and that all is well.

How to Review for the Topic 2 Maths Test
- Step 1: Make sure that you know there are 8 lessons.
- Step 2: Look at the heading for each lesson and make sure you understand what each lesson covers.
- Step 3: Read the example in the Visual Learning Bridge of each lesson and make sure that the answers make sense to you.
- Step 4: Make sure you understand all of the guided practice.
- Step 5: Do the Topic Test (pages 50 and 51) to check that you understand and do the Reteaching (52 to 55) if you feel you need extra practice.
